Pedaling For A Purpose!
I will be joining over 2,000 riders in the 30th Annual TREK 100 Ride for Hope on June 1st. This great Ride benefits the MACC Fund (Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer, Inc.) which is a great charity dedicated to helping children battling cancer and blood disorders like aplastic anemia and sickle cell disease. The TREK 100 is the largest annual fund-raiser in the 42 year history of the MACC Fund. The MACC Fund has contributed over $62 million to pediatric cancer research sine 1976 and has played an important role in raising the overall cure rate for childhood cancer from 20% to 80% in that time. Yet, even children in the 80% category can still relapse and have ‘late effect’ issues which requires additional research. Please consider supporting my efforts as I ride to find a cure for childhood cancers and related blood disorders.
Thank you for supporting my personal Trek 100 challenge!
