The Trek 100 is the best charity bicycle ride of the year. It’s hosted at the world headquarters of Trek Bicycle in Waterloo, Wisconsin. Funds raised at the ride benefit Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer (MACC Fund), and their work supporting critical research on pediatric cancer and related blood disorders.
In 1976, the five-year survival rate for childhood cancer was 20%. Thanks to the efforts of groups like the MACC Fund, today the survival rate is 80%. Since 1990, the Trek 100 has contributed over $14.5 million to the MACC Fund. Ride with us at the Trek 100, and help make the survival rate 100%.
The Trek 100 offers rides for everyone from families to hardcore cyclists. The four ride distances of 17, 34, 66, and 100 miles cover gently rolling terrain in Jefferson county, on beautiful country roads. Enjoy breakfast beforehand at Trek, and refuel at catered rest stops along the way. And stick around for the afterparty: we’ll have great music, food, and plenty of cold beer.
Childhood cancer is the leading disease-related cause of death in children. Help us change that by riding the Trek 100.
